Today is Wednesday and the time is 10:30am. I think I’ll document the day and time for future reference since I can’t figure out this timestamp thing.
Anyway, we’re headed out of town today. Going to see family for Turkey Day. I’m excited but I don’t like packing very much. My mom had a doc’s appt today and she still has to get the fiance sooooooo I don’t plan on getting on the road til about 1pm or so. It’s such a pretty day for driving too. The suns out, the sky is clear, and the birds are a chirpin’. *takin deep breath* And the best thing of all…I’M NOT AT WORK! My job’s not that bad but sitting in a gray cubicle is not exhilerating.
I did forget to charge my camera batteries…booooo. But they’ll hopefully have time to charge tonight before tomorrow’s festivities. Let’s see, tonight we’ll probably visit with the grandparents for awhile and head to the hotel. Tomorrow we’ll come over early to prepare for dinner. Eat dinner and fall into a coma. Wake up, read, nibble, fall back into coma. Friday, I dunno but I know I have seafood in my future. That night my cuz’s fam is supposed to have after thanksgiving festivities complete with dranks.*note to self: get some eggnog…ya’ll don’t know nerrr bout no eggnog!* Saturday we’re gonna head ‘em up and move ‘em out but we probably won’t get back here til late.
Monday marks the homestretch for the semester. I’ve got exactly two weeks and I’m through. I’ve got my soci paper due that first friday. The next friday is the soci exam and saturday is my accounting final. I’mma be crazy cause havin two tests in one week is not cool. But I’ll have a glorious month off from school so no worries!
It was refreshing talkin to my cuz who’s livin in england. Lawd what love will make you do! I pray he gets a job soon so he can get out of the house. I’mma try to take some really good pics at thanksgiving and send them to him since there is not Turkey Day in england and if memory serves, this is the first thanksgiving he’s not been with us. We’re a tightnit bunch and I pray his emotional strength.
Soooooooo I’mma get off of here and finish packin so I can be chillin when they pull up.
