I tried to post this earlier but the server at my job crashed. I’m so glad I copied before I hit the publish button.
This weekend my mom and her fiance found a 5 bedroom house with a finished basement.
The basement has a large “living room”, the bedroom is huge with two walk-in closets and then there’s a full bathroom that’s actually bigger than the one in the house we’re in now. Oh, and it’s own seperate entrance. Basically a mini apartment. The only things I would need to buy to make it self sufficient is a mini fridge w/a freezer and a Microwave/Convection oven.
It’s a lease to purchase agreement. It’s enough room for all of us to live under the same roof and have our own space. We would rent out the house we’re in now.
Soooo, today at 6pm, my mom and her fiance are going to fill out an application and see if they qualify. My mom has really good credit and she told me she could qualify for 149,000 by herself…the selling price of this huge house is only 169,000. Her fiance’s credit…not so good (and not his fault since his daughter is sick)…but he has always paid rent on time wherever he has been…that’s gotta count for something. So hopefully with their forces combined, we can move into this house.
I pray His will be done. Whatever the outcome, we will be ok. It just would really be nice, ya know? *sigh* But His will be done. I anxiously await for 6pm. I’ll be back to let cyberspace know.
