It’s been awhile.

The Good:
I went to Dante’s Down the Hatch, it’s a ship themed fondu restaurant. Oh my gosh, it was excellent. I recommend the Mandarin Fondu b/c it has 4 different meats, chicken, pork, shrimp, and beef, so you get a sampling of everything. But I must say that the shrimp is my favorite. Also, 3 people can share 2 Mandarin Fondu’s and a cheese tray (very excellent) and still be full to capacity! Oh and the sauces! They have this sweet& sour and then this cajun sauce…my favorites, and they also have a teriyaki and a sour cream/horseradish thing. Yummmm! We were their for a group project on a hospitality industry. We talked to the owner, the gen.manager, and some other crazy zany old white guys. AND the best part…lawd is good, the bill was $80, that blessed wonderful white man cut the bill in HALF! We only paid $40 plus tips! God is good!

~ I put up my 3 shelf storage thingy in my bathroom and put my candles on top and my bathroom looks GOOD. Ya’ll don’t know nerrr. If only it had a shower! Boooooo! I’m in a total revamp mode with my room. Very fun!

The Bad:
My people’s cousins *shaking head* I was knocked OUT! I’m talkin no dream, drool, kinda sleep. All the sudden a gun shot wakes me up, then I hear my mom in the hall on the phone with the police. This is about 1:30am. She tells them it’s been 15 shots so far, so I continue counting as I hear them. The dog went crazy…crazier than she already is! Anyway, I was like “I be durned if I get hit by a stray bullet!”

So I grab my glasses and cell phone and go in the hall bathroom and sit on the floor, my mom takes a seat on the toilet with the phone. The neighbor called to let us know they had gone down the street toward our house but we never could see where they went. We called the “popo” and my mom requested that she speak to the officer but he never came to the house, I’m hoping he was out catching them people. If not, then I maintain that the cops NEVER come to our neigborhood. *sigh* One time, a house got broken into on our street, they had an alarm and everything, and NOT a Nerrr cop showed up. Clearly.

Anyway, after the gunshots (32 to be exact…emptied a clip!) stopped around 2am, we promptly moved my bed from infront of the window. I’m now safely sleeping in the corner. My room is hot mess but I didn’t get shot! I couldn’t get back to sleep til about 3am. It used to be, we only had to worry about the white family that hunted deer on the end of our street. We were comfortable with those shots cause we knew their destination. The neighborhood is changing and I’m quite sad about it. We have this one house on the end, that went from a crack house, to some “lady of the bedroom chamber” living there. Who stands on the corner all times of night talkin on a cell phone? We also have one house, that frankly is cursed, nobody can live in that house and it not get robbed. It’s been for sale for at least a year now. We’ve never been robbed and we live across the street. The other house has been through several renters. I’m sooooo falling asleep in class today. Clearly.

Well, that’s been all. I’m still talking to my friend. He’s nice. One day at a time. School, schoool, schooooool. *sigh*

forever since I’ve written anything on here.

Well, what’s going on?

1. I’m sick. It all began last wednesday night with my sinuseses draining. Went to the doctor finally this monday and I have a sinus infection with a splash of bronchitis. Yippeeee! Then I coughed so violently that my eyes have pools of blodd in them and it’s spreading! Yippeeee! I swear I can scare small children with my eyes. oh and I still have to go out in public because I have class. Great. A cute dude was lookin at me today and I was like “please stop. my eyes are gross!”.

2. B’s friend died. He was friends with this girl for 12yrs. It really has him shook. All I can do is listen cause I haven’t had anyone close to me die *thank you Jesus* My lil cousin L.A. died in 2001 but I wasn’t really that close to him. But it did make me think about my mortality. That’s what my friend said, he’s been sitting back and thinking about his life. I told him everybody has to re-evalute. It’s normal.

3. Since I was out sick, I’ve gotten somewhat behind in understanding my accounting. I need those lectures like a crackhead needs a pipe. And I missed one and a homework session and now I’m clueless. Jesus keep me near the cross! All I need is a “C”!

4. Never underestimate your presence in someone else’s life ~Mom

5. That’s all I got people. I’m slightly disgruntles because I’m at work and still sick but that’s life.

6. Oh Madea is gonna be off da chain. Can’t wait!
