I have a new friend.
He’s nice and whatnot. I’m practicing my conversational skills…good stuff. I’m more of an in-person communicator unless I really really know you and even then, I’m not a phone person.

This will be the first Valentine ever that I will be “talking” to someone. I’ve always been single on Valentines…now I’m single but I’ve got a prospect. It’s a long distance friendship so I won’t see him but I may work something for my spring break.

Now the long distance part will most likely keep him in the friendship category cause this sista has done that…not nice at all. I also have a feeling he’d be one of those boyfriends who had to see you all the time…clearly I have school and work…not much extra for a real relationship.

Did I mention he can sing! Jesus wept, hold my mule and keep me near the cross! He better sing to me on Valentine’s or I will mail him a beat down…just kidding…sort of ;-)

*switch* I saw another dude I use to crush on today. He just didn’t look as good as he used to. Growing hair is not a good look for him…closely cut should be his style forever! I also did not speak…that’s progress people. If he can “overlook” me sometimes, well I can too.
