*looking around* *edging out**jumping back behind my walls* No, no. It’s too dangerous. this world is filled with judgemental and horrible people. It’s too much. I don’t want to be noticed. I want to remain invisible and shuffle on through my life. I don’t want to realize how powerful being me and being woman can be. No, no, I’d just rather observe life. Watch as other people take chances and live life fully. I’ll be the best sideline cheerleader known to man.

Sereniiiiiittttyyyyyyyyy…what good would that do? You know you have a purpose to fulfill and how will that be accomplished if you hide from life?

*sigh* I know. But why me? Why must I stand up and try to contribute to this society. Why can’t I just be…be…be mediocre?

Serenity. You know, because of the family you were born into, mediocrity is not a choice. Why would you want to be mediocre?

*sigh* It’s just easier to do what you can do and not attempt to do more.

Serenity. Do you remember this? Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light , not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

How about this…Actually, who are you not to be?You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make and manifest the glory of God that is within us.

Serenity, don’t hide from life. Live it. Don’t be afraid to be silly, serious, cautious, happy, loving, sensual, caring. Embrace all of you. Don’t concern yourself with what other people think or say because they have not known you since you were created. And Serenity, love yourself, know yourself, all else will follow. All things in His timing.

*frustrated sigh* I hear you. I might not emotionally understand you right now. But I hear you.
