Got some folks coming in town and they wanted to know if ATL had a drink called the Walk Me Down.
Well after much searching, here is what I found. I will taking them to 300 Atlanta to enjoy.
Walk Me Down….known in the Mississippi region
1/2 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1/2 oz. Rum
1/2 oz. Gin
1/2 oz. Tequila
1 0z. Sour mix
1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
Sprite
Blue MuthaF****** or Blue Motorcycle…known in ATL.
1 1/2 oz. Vodka
1 1/2 oz. Rum
1 1/2 oz. Gin
1 1/2 oz. Tequila
Sour mix
1 1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
splash of 7 -up
The only difference between the two is that one is made with Sprite and the other with 7up. I just asked my bartender friend about the Triple sec/ Blue Curacao discrepency. And you would be pleased to know that Triple sec is Blue Curacao..one’s just blue and the other isn’t. I somehow feel very accomplised! lol. I also helped further his bartending career lol, he said it was nice to know another name for it, so from hence forth when people ask D for a Walk Me Down he’ll fix em a “Blue Mutha *shut yo mouth*” (it’s actually called that sumtimes)
