From the previous depressing post.
I have alot to look forward to.
~ Im starting on the road to good health. I’ve set mini goals and I intend to acheive them. I’m eating to live, not living to eat. At this early stage I am replacing on meal a day (lunch) with a slim fast shake. It’s chocolate flavored and chalky BUT I can dig it. This isn’t permanent, only until I can some of the weight off, then I gradually incorporate real lunches. I’m eating breakfast and dinner, drinking plenty of water…we’ll see!
~I’m exercising and loving it. It helps me get through my TTH class without killing my professor. In the words of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde “exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people don’t just go around killing their husbands” *insert professors* in my case.
~ I’m embarking on a challenging semester.
~ I’m learning to just DO, instead of thinking about it too hard.
And what really helps me is knowing I’m going to see Alvin Ailey in about Two Weeks! Yipee! Can’t wait!
