I’m still in good ole Arkansas. Clearly my family has me thinking about coming out this way for grad school. Lawd Jeebus. Anywho.
My aunt just showed me around the library and there was this SCRUMPTIOUS brotha (don’t see to many) working the circ desk. Nice skin and smile and thangs. My auntie introduced me. Matter fact, if this freakin computer wasn’t blocking me, then I could get a better look at him…such eye candy…isn’t it wrong that my day became sooooo much better. Hmmm I wonder if he’ll be here when I leave. You know I’m trying to be all nonchalant when I leave…lol. I’mma exit with some “Nice to meet you!” and pause before I actually go out the door! lol. Shoot, I’m here til Friday mornin and I will DEFINITELY be back up here tomorrow to follow up on some leads. Shoot, he can take me to lunch…show a sista round da campus! lol
I’m trippin. I brought some school work with me out here. Yes, I know that’s nerd-like since technically it’s my spring break BUT the last week in March is gonna be HELL if I don’t get some of this stuff out of the way. Anywho, I’ve had a nice time so far. I haven’t been starved for the “big city” like I thought I would. Actually the area that my cousin lives in is quite developed. You want for nothing over that way. Good stuff.
Lawd this hair is HOT! I had to press the fro. Can’t be scaring the white folk…just yet. Please believe not a hiar on my head will be straightened this summer..it’s too doggone hot for that mess. Almost sweated out my press walkin cross campus!
*awwww, my nice chocolate brotha has left, some white girl is working…wait, that might be a white guy with a ponytail…can’t really see THAT far…oh well…maybe he’ll be here tomorrow*

Well not much else to talk about right now. I got some thangs in the works tomorrow….gonna have an OFF DA CHAIN schedule friday morning…don’t know…might get to rest Thursday.
