I’m sitting here, chatting with one of my friends in the A, and it dawns on me….I’ve been in the ARK for about 5 weeks. The time has FLOWN!
This has definitely already been a growing experience and I’m looking forward to more.
I’ve got *lookin at calendar* 8 more weeks until I come home. I know it’s going to fly by cause I have that 3rd job, I just hope I can be present for most of it!
Last night my manager called me in to help with a store set up, which basically is rearranging the store inorder to trick people into thinking you put out new merchandise. I will NEVER AGAIN put a shirt back without folding/hanging it properly. I moved shirt from this table to that table, I took the stickers off and placed them in the bottom right corner, I did all kinds of things that I took for granted! This job is my first step into the world of retail because I’ve been blessed to work on campus the majority of my collegiate career. This will be an experience!
What else….
19 days until my birthday! I have no idea what I’m going to do. I’m in a different state and the options are limited…but I will be here kickin it with my cousin who’s bday is a week before mine! I’m pretty sure we’ll figure something out! *feliz cumpleanos*
Hmmmm…
I just got done talkin to my friend A. She’s preggo and it’s not the greatest situation but I support her. I’mma be a god momma! My friend still hasn’t told her father, and with good reason, he’s kinda caught up in appearances and this would ‘blemish’ the family name since she’s not married. What..and…eva. I keep her in prayers on the regular.
(edit: I am in Tavis Smiley heaven. Here in the Ark it comes on at 5pm in the afternoon, in the A, I’d be proppin my eyelids open to watch it at 11pm)
